Security Installation Technician

We are seeking experienced and ambitious senior security installers to add to our Indianapolis Field Service Team.

Security Installer Job Duties Serve customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Perform installation, service, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair activities on video surveillance systems, access control systems, intrusion alarm systems and network infrastructure.
Must have ability to assess and develop strategy to run and terminate cabling (Coaxial, Category, Access, Etc.
) in busy environments.
Set up, mount, and install DVRs, NVRs, PoE Switches, and low voltage power supplies.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve low voltage electrical, cable, computer hardware, and software problems.
Manage assigned inventory, tools, and equipment.
Complete and submit thorough, accurate paperwork on-time.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and specs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various product lines.
Ensure assigned jobs are completed on-time and within budget.
Act as a knowledge resource for Field Service Team members.
Train and onboard new Field Service Team members.
Identify and communicate areas of risk, opportunities, and improvement in the field.
Attend weekly Field Service Team calls.
Details Hourly $30-$38 - Rate based on experience and aptitude.

Minimum 5 years previous low voltage experience as security installer in video, intrusion, and access control.
Willingness to travel overnight 50% of the time.
Must have valid driver's license, strong driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and collaboratively with internal and external clients.
Must have working knowledge of security technology, tools, and installation techniques.
Must be able to climb ladders, operate lifts and be comfortable with heights.
Organized, self-driven, and customer focused.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively.
Ability to lift 70lbs.
Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Willingness to work varying schedules, including days, overnights, and some weekends.
Professional appearance and communication.
Must provide basic hand tools.
Military experience a plus.
Supervisory experience a plus.
Experience operating in retail environments a plus.
Previous experience with Bosch Intrusion a plus.
Previous experience with Mercury Hardware a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
